Channel Partner — Solar (Residential & Commercial)
Build and run your own solar sales business under the Shield Partners brand — your business, our platform.
Shield Partners operates a solar sales organization across the Phoenix metro — residential and commercial. We're expanding through a small number of channel partners: experienced operators who run their own sales businesses under the Shield Partners brand, backed by our infrastructure, lead support, and back-end fulfillment. This is a business-to-business partnership — channel partners operate as their own LLC or corporation contracting with Shield Partners, not as individual 1099 contractors.
What you can earn. Uncapped, commission-based. Shield Partners contracts with your business and pays a per-deal spread on every install your team produces. Your per-deal rate climbs as volume grows — the structure rewards you for scaling.
A producing partner earns around $250k+ in their first year — and because the structure is uncapped and scales directly with the volume your team produces, established partners earn well beyond that. Your income is a direct function of the business you build. We'll walk through the full earning trajectory in conversation.
What you’ll do. You operate your own business. You recruit, train, and lead your own reps; you build and fund your own lead flow, with our support behind you; and you own your numbers, your culture, and your pace. Day to day you're running a sales business under the Shield Partners brand — hiring, coaching at the door and in the room, managing pipeline, and holding your team to a standard.
What it takes.
- A track record leading a sales team, running a region or branch, or owning a sales-driven business
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and hold a team accountable
- A team you can bring, or the ability to build one quickly
- Experience in solar, home improvement, or high-ticket / in-home sales (strongly preferred; exceptional sales-leadership backgrounds from other industries considered)
- Willingness to build and fund your own lead flow — door-to-door is the core model, with flexibility to add other channels you bring
- The mindset of an owner — self-directed, accountable, in it to build something
- An existing LLC or corporation, or readiness to form one — this is a business-to-business partnership
- Based in or operating in the Phoenix metro; reliable transportation and a smartphone

Setter and Sales Manager are 1099 independent-contractor positions; Channel Partner is a business-to-business contract with the partner's LLC or corporation. All are commission-based and uncapped; the ranges shown reflect what active, producing reps typically earn and are not a guarantee of income. Actual earnings depend on individual performance, and new reps should expect a ramp period.
